130 migranti

Tragedy in the vicinity of the Black Sea. 24 refugees died after the boat carrying them capsized. It looks like they were trying to reach Romania. The 50 refugees were from Syria and Afghanistan and among them were also children. Following closely the growing number of such events in the Black Sea area, we at JRS Romania live in fear that they may be repeated in the future. More and more immigrants are trying to escape from conflict areas and their life-threatening situation, resorting to such very fragile boats to seek refuge in safe countries.
